From Kansas to North Dakota: Meet Jojo Snow
By: Jojo Snow
March 8, 2026
I’ve spent most of my life working outside in agriculture. International Women’s Day felt like a good time to reflect on the work that’s taken me from farms in Kansas to winters in North Dakota. The places are different, but the work is similar, with early mornings, long days, and a lot of time in the elements.
Most of my days revolve around center pivot irrigation. That means walking the lines, checking nozzles, and making sure everything is running like it should. When something’s off, you usually find it the old-fashioned way, by walking muddy rows until you spot the problem.

Having gear you trust makes a big difference when you’re outside all day. I’ve relied on Muck Boots for years because they’re comfortable and hold up in mud, snow, and whatever the day throws at me. When it’s cold, windy, or icy, the work doesn’t stop; you just bundle up and keep going.
